Horror about a monstrous creature attacking New York, shown as if we are watching a found videotape filmed by young friends.

Cloverfield is about group of friends venture deep into the streets of New York on a rescue mission during a rampaging monster attack. The movie is first person which is one of a kind. The story is smart, captivating and exciting and keeps the audience on the edge of their seats however the storyline at the end seemed a bit abrupt and unusual which leaves the audience wanting more. The movie itself is visually stunning and the CGI is used cleverly to emphasise characters feeling and captivate audience. The characters in the movies are neither that interesting nor memorable however the movie is a roller roaster from star to end and I would say it is a must watch.
