1984 is a tale of power in a dark society where people are not even people anymore and are treated more like robots on a factory belt!. Being controlled by the Government. Big Brother tells you what to think, feel and love. We are introduced to Winston who works for the newspaper re-writing history. He lives in a very dark world consistently being fed propaganda about a war between three superpowers. Winston then starts to realise that Big Brother is wrong and falls victim of think crime and has an encounter with the very people controlling his world. The movie was great and it made you think a lot about this sort of thing and what goes on behind closed doors. I would recommend this movie to anyone even though it was very dark and it really does make you think about people in power in modern day society. I felt the movie drew me into the setting and made me wonder what I would do in that sort of situation. A great show.
