I had never watched Charlie Chaplin before but The Rink had changed my mind a lot and I want to watch more silent movies like it because Charlie Chaplin is a funny film maker. Maybe you call could even call him a comedy artist because he is really funny compared to other film artists. But the best part about it was two men from Unsilent Movies who played us live music on the drums and keyboard. It was amazing. Charlie Chaplin was working in a restaurant in America but he was really mischievous he and tripped customers up and annoyed the workers, he threw food on people and even got a man FIRED! But one day this strange person came in with long eyebrows and a long moustache however Charlie annoyed him enough he went to the skating rink and tried to flirt with a girl. Charlie Chaplin came to skate and got revenge on the man he used his walking cane to push the man around. The music made me enthusiastic because it showed what was going on without words having to be said but still it showed the personalities of the characters; Charlie Chaplin had the funniest music played to him because he was really silly on purpose to everyone in the restaurant but when police came the music was more tense. Charlie tried to make an escape will he get away? I would give it ten out of ten because it is very funny even though it's short and it was a hundred years old. My favourite part is how Charlie makes a funny face when the man gets fired which made me laugh on the inside but Charlie Chaplin is the best silent movie maker I've seen!
