The film Fruitvale Station is the true story of Oscar Grant. Michael B Jordan played the part of Oscar Grant a 22 year old from Oakland California. He takes a head start on he makes a decision to be a better son to he's mother and a better father to he's 4 year old daughter. He was an ex-convict when he came out of prison he wanted to change for he's family for the better. When he came out of prison it was hard for him to get back on he's feet.he lost he's job he had problems with money but although he tried has best to help others around him.His girlfriend Sophina, Who he hasn't been completely honest to due to him cheating so she didn't really trust him. He wanted to be a better father to Tatiana, Their beautiful 4 year-old daughter. Oscar starts of being positive but he realises that change doesn't come that easy. Which he's mothers birthday is on new years and was generous enough to buy groceries for he's mother birthday. I like the way the director(Ryan Coogler) has made this film and put real life footage of what happened that night and made us see what happens to people to black people in America. What hurts me the is how member of society get treated on fairly because of their race, Everyone is meant to be treated the the same in society everyone deserves Equality, I recommend this film to anyone because this film made me feel true empathy for everyone around me.This was a real heart-warming.
