Just to let you know I watched an extended version of this film. At the start, it was a damn right idea showing what the protagonist did before going into deeper risk of other offered jobs at her workplace so you can get first thoughts of should she stick to this job or her previous one. It gives you a little synopsis of how the comedy and the spy-ness is going to mix well in this film. There was some dialogue I could not hear, whilst some characters were talking, in the middle of their sentences they would say at least one word too fast or too quietly. It is a bit disappointing because they deliver some hilarious lines but although there was that, it does not matter. It does not make me rethink and say they are not funny because they still were. In the film, there was loads going on, it made me confused and have a "no" moment as into say; "What are you doing" to the main protagonist. Some blood and gore bits in this made me put my teeth together in discomfort but the disturbance was useful at times for original dark comedy. There is an amount of unimaginable turns with character mannerisms, twists and unexpected moments, and not one of those unexpected moments is Jason Statham playing a snobbish character. The jokes fitted in with whatever type of scene wherever the settings, it brings out how verbally abusive a person can be if you try and mess with them and the humour in this had great comedy duos whoever Susan was with. The action was unmissable and with a comedy actress like Melissa McCarthy, it made me want to see how she was going to tackle the threats that she was seeing to in the film. Susan is a funny character to watch, she maybe always wanting to be eager to solve what needs to be solved but it shows she wants to make a contribution to who she works for. Nancy is a nice friend and colleague, willing to help and advise Susan on what to do and make sure she is not alone. As for Ford he is a stuck-up dimwit, he was a bit prejudice towards Susan and all; "Look at me, I am better than you". I only half felt sorry for him for what he is put up with during his time in the agency, he interferes and he makes you want to roast him with very harsh words if you had to do a two-person mission with him. To me, Rayna is an unsuspecting villain at first, judging by the advertisement of this movie but as you see more of her she becomes quite the evil woman, she is sometimes funny but she is one of those villains that I am used to see being bad more, the badness overrides her funniness a little bit. The ending cinematic had a good final breath of laughs, although it had to show an unnecessary final remark from a character I think he should have acted differently. It features a trick punchline at the closing scene which was unseeingly clever. This is a film that gets you into the mood of wanting a group of malicious people to suffer with a few laughs on top and gets you to realise whoever, that is right WHOEVER works at a company is capable of standing up for a task.
