The final race of the season pits three rival cars against each other: a veteran winner, a regular runner-up, and an arrogant newcomer.

Best Disney Pixar film!

4 stars

10 Sep 2017

This is one of best classics for Walt Disney and Pixar about a racing car who is lost and learns that friendship is more important than racing, the editing and sound effects are spot on as the racing comes to life in front of your eyes on the silver screen; the music fits in perfectly and the dialogue is easy to understand and follow. The animation is perfect and captures everyone's imagination, the characters are all based on real life people such as Steve McQueen (Lightning McQueen in the film) and the settings are based on real life places as well. The film gained attention from critics and received a nomination for best animated feature at the Academy Awards but lost too Happy Feet, however this film is considered one of the best Disney/ Pixar films ever made. Pixar is just one of many companies that Walt Disney owns and this film is still loved eleven years later! I like this film because it was my favourite Disney film when I was growing up and it has stuck with me since; this is a film that anyone would love to see and I strongly recommend it.
