I wouldn't recommend watching it anymore after the whole series they had planned was cancelled, but if you had an afternoon to spare, and this is the only film on the shelf in your house for whatever reason, and you somehow were a kid that watched the 90s Spider Man Cartoon, I'd recommend this. If it's your first ever Spider-man film, I've no idea what you could ever think about it. But I'd describe this film as being good for it's amount of subtle references to the comics that it enjoys pandering to, but if you couldn't care less about those, then it's mostly a mediocre superhero film that's pretty funny at times. Some of the action sequences feel a bit flimsily filmed, as if there's no weight behind punches or kicks. It's a bit of a rushed love story in that sense too, but it's not like you watched this for that anyway... I personally believe the only redeeming quality of this film is its origin storytelling. It's just really enjoyable watching some loser (Who's not even established as a loser really well) get to grips with super powers. Also the suit is cool... I really like the suit. Enjoyable movie. Can be hypey for Spider-man fans. Enjoy at your own risk.
