This film has so many elements that work together beautifully to bring to life the roaring twenties on screen. From the flamboyant colourful costumes to the 21st century take on jazz age music, Baz Luhrmann draws the audience into the life of Nick Caraway and his mysterious friend Jay Gatsby. The film is a story of Romance and Drama told beautifully by the star studded cast and as it is one of my favourite films I would highly recommend it to anybody that is a fan of the book and the genres.
