The story tells of of owl childrenwho learn about the Guardians of Ga'Hoole. One of the older brothers does not believe in the Guardians. After they get captured in the desert by the evil Pure Ones one of the owls called Soren escapes after learning how to fly. He along with three other owls go to find the Guardians. My favourite character was Soren because he was brave and wanted to save his brothers. It would have been better if it was longer. It is suitable for children and adults.
