Lady Bird

5 stars

14 Feb 2018

I would give the movie Lady Bird a 5 star rating. I enjoyed it a lot and felt that I could relate to the storyline in many ways. With the main character being a 16/17 year old girl who is trying to figure out who she is, having fights with friends and her parents; i could almost see myself in her shoes and i haven’t watched many movies where i’ve related to someone so much. The main character “Lady Bird” is very daring, I loved how she spoke her mind and seemed truly down to earth.

I loved the way the movie was filmed, the colours were very striking at certain times which i loved. The scenery played a big part in the filming and i felt the town it was filmed in(Sacramento) came across as very picturesque. Light played a huge part in the filming which was very nice, especially a scene where the sun was beginning to set and it was filming the car driving was shot very beautifully.
