Best Space Adventure Movie!

4 stars

11 Mar 2018

I really liked this movie, I wouldn't say love it as there was a few bad things about it such as,

I don't agree with the rating as it has use of some bad language, slightly creepy (by that I mean the Zorgons are creepy) and ever so slightly dark so I would say this movie should possibly be for 10+

Other than that I think that all the people who worked on this done a fantastic job!

I think the music was quite dramatic and fitting, especially reminded me of Star Wars when Darth Vader appears, you know the evil music except here its different and its when the Zorgons (Reptilian alien creatures) appear.

If you like Jumanji (1995) you'll love Zathura which I'd say is the more modern version of Jumanji though is about space.

Film Description-

Two boys who face divorcee between their parents, do not get on well with each other. They argue, they fight and if they had the opportunity... they would wish the other never existed

One day after the boys have an argument at who's the best at games and imagination, Danny the youngest little six-year old (Played by Jonah Bobo) finds a magical game in his Dad's basement, "Zathura? What's Zathura?" he ask's himself and his elder brother, Walter. (Portrayed by Josh Hutcherson) But they find out that when you start a game, you always have to end it.

Join them as they adventure through space playing the board game, which causes different problems, troubles, shenanigans and peril....
