Before The Lord Of The Rings there was The Hobbit, and this film reveals how the story of Bilbo Baggins and the 'one ring' all began.

In this hobbit film, we find out all about Mr Baggins, which gives me a slight chance of guessing that he will be one of the most important characters in the films to come. Bilbo is quite a gentleman, and he is quite interested in keeping all his things to himself, and was taken a back when he was joined by Gandalf and his friends, even though he didn't know who they were! My least favourite part is when he confronts the "golem" in the cave, yet in the film it is just an animal you would find in random fantasy films with all the action that the hobbit gives you. However, to round it all up in the end, it is quite an interesting film, and even though it may be quite old, I recommend it to an Harry Potter fan who hasn't watched if yet!
