Rain Man is a heartwarming movie starring the young and bossy Tom Cruise with his older and sweeter brother, Dustin Hoffman. Hoffman plays a character called Raymond (as in Rain Man) Babbitt, an autistic man who receives a great inheritance from his late father. However, Cruise - aided on his journey by his girlfriend Susanna, played by Valeria Golino - begins the film ravenous for the inheritance. Cruise's character Charlie Babbitt tracks down his autistic brother but gradually grows accustomed to his perks. I particularly enjoyed the addition of music to exemplify the mood and the characterisation. Overall, the only negative thing I could pick up on is the occasional boring sequence.
