This film is made a lot darker than the original story we all know about. This story is about a young woman called Valerie who is played by Amanda Seyfried who falls in love with her childhood friend who is a woodcutter his name is Peter who is played by Shiloh Fernandez. Valerie also has a dark secret that the village people don't know until one of Valerie's best friends tells Solomon that Valerie is a witch. The secret is that she can understand the werewolf that is hunting and destroying her village and her home can she find out who the werewolf is and why she can talk to the beast and understand it and who will she choose to love will it be Peter her childhood friend or will it be her future husband to be Henry. I thought this movie was very dark and sometimes scary but apart for that I loved the film and I don't think younger views should watch it I would say its for over 12 years and over but not for children under 12.
