The Eagle Huntress (2016)

I really enjoyed watching this film because it made me think about female rights and how female get treated for being female. I thought that female should have the rights to do what they choose.

This film is about a thirteen-year-old girl who is Kazakh and is from Mongolia and is named Ashiolpan. Ashiolpan looks up to her father and her grandfather who were both Eagle hunters.

Aisholpan wants be an eagle huntress but her family disagrees because it was a tradition that the men were Eagle hunters and the women would stay home clean and cook. Also, it was passed on from father to son. Even though her family disagrees Aisholpan makes being an Eagle huntress her big dream and her passion. Later her father lets her train to be an Eagle huntress, and her father has a shock about how marvellous she is at it because Aisholpan can catch her own Eaglet at thirteen years old!

After that they travel miles and miles to get to an Eagle hunter festival that her dad has won before, Aisholpan tries and tries to beet all of the other men while she was only thirteen. Aisholpan got laughed at and questioned because she was a girl, although she gets laughed at and questioned, will she win?
