The plot to this story involves a blue alien called Megamind who creates a hero called Titan

This movie has been well thought out, the cast has been thought out amazing! I really like this movie because the sic is well thought out. We hear some Micheal Jackson and some dramatic back-ground music. The dialogue was good as well because it isn’t confusing and you can listen and connect with it as well. This film came out before Despicable Me and they have used the idea of a ‘minion’ as well. So Megamind deserves some credit for that good idea!

Will Ferrel makes an awesome character out of Megamind. Megamind is portrayed as this unsuccessful villain who always looses and never gets the girl. However ad the story goes on we start to see a change in Megamind (I won’t give to much away).

The colours are well thought out, the main colours are blue and black. When Megamind is loitering the city and his brain bots are behind him which fills the street with a blue light. This represents him taking over the city. Metro- Man’s cape is white which represents purity, innocence and sincerity this is good because it portrays him as this perfect hero. Titan has ginger hair and his costume is red , white and orange. The orange reflects his hair and the red shows destruction, anger and hatred.

The character of Roxanne is complicated. She is liked/ loved by to many people and that makes her seem like she doesn’t care about who she likes. We do, however, see a character change in her though. As she gets to know Megamind a bit better her feelings change.

I gave this movie a four out of five because it is to much like Superman in the sense that he got sent down to earth when his planet was about to blow up and that he fell in love and then the girl gets kidnapped and so on.

I would recommend this film fro all ages! From toddler to Adolescent to Adult to Grandparent. It is so funny and you’d love it if you have a sense of humour of course! Everyone will laugh and have a blast!

Well done Tom McGrath!
