An epic, action-packed movie about enormous man-made robots taking on giant alien sea monsters, with cutting-edge visual effects.

I liked this film. The film is about jaegers against alien kaijus. I like the use of the mis en scene in this film and gives this film a awfully well created science fiction like world and the way Guillermo del toro uses his camera techniques creates a sense of power. The colours used within this film create a dark and dreary sense and make it seem as if the world is ending the further into the film we go. The sound used in this film of the jaegers and the explosive soundtrack create a sense of power. This film has ethical representation from all characters and doesn't discriminate within the cast of actors and all the actors have different character backgrounds. The lighting used in this film is always well done its dark when it needs to have a eerie atmosphere to it and bright when you need to see something and how good it looks in the light.
