A thrilling, emotional and eye opening biopic of Elton John, Taron Egerton takes it away with a superb performance in Rocketman.

Rocketman is a film showing the true life of Elton John and what It was really like for him, coming to terms with who he really is. Taron Egerton does an amazing job at not only looking the part but also providing the whole soundtrack, sung by himself. the film is packed with many emotions and is beautifully shot with certain fantasy like elements. Starting from a young age, the movie takes us through his rise to fame an also shows us how Elton struggled with drugs and alcohol abuse. The entire film is shot amazingly and what really blew me away was the music and Taron's voice. Rocketman is a heart feel film with amazing performances from all the cast and it is also edited to pefection. In my opinion the film would be suites for young adults and adults and I'd say Elton John fans got the film they deserved. A solid movie all round with a solid musical soundtrack, Taron surely deserves an Oscar nomination.
