Eddie the Eagle. Wow, is what i thought when it finished, just Wow. It was an experience, not just something you watch, it touches you makes you think. Eddie is a boy with a knee disability, who from a young age is desperate to make it to the olympics no matter who tries to stop him, when he travels to Norway to practise for the ski jumping competition he injures and hurts himself both mentally and physically. This film makes you laugh at Eddie"s inability to socialize and cry at his ongoing effort. The music and direction is insanely good, with suburb and well matched actors, it completes the puzzle. If you like a story that is based on truth and is full of people that make your heart warm then this is the film for you, so what"s stopping you from giving it a go.
