The film starts off on an island off the coast of Ireland ,where the giant Mac Lir is said to sleep. Ben a young boy lives with his father, his dog Cu

and his mute sister Saoirse who he blames for his mothers death .But when Saoirse is revelealed to be a selkie ,she is told by a group of faore that she has to find her seal coat or else she will be captured by Macha and turned to stone. A heartwarming animation that tells the story of the strained relationship between an angry brother and a mute sister racing against time to save Irish myths and transport them to Tir na nOg , Irish heaven.
