Waterworld is about the world being over-flooded with water tan therefore there is no land left. The people who have survived are now living on makeshift boats and are scavenging for food and searching for land.
I really enjoyed the movie and its concept. The characters were really well-written and despite being an old movie, the effects and quality was brilliant.
