A classic Disney adventure

Pinocchio is a typical Disney animated film with lots of toe tapping music which set the tone for the Disney brand. You will find it has the usual loveable main character where the story is told around their life.

In this story a doll called Pinocchio, owned by an old toymaker named Geppetto, is brought to life because Geppetto desperately wanted a son. Pinocchio dreams of becoming a real boy after finding out he is only a puppet. Pinocchio is befriended by a fox who traps him in a cage and his friend, who is a grasshopper called Jiminy Cricket, is unable to free him from the trap. Pinocchio ends up in a circus singing about being a puppet and having no strings, which is a classic Disney song. One of the songs sung by Jiminy Cricket, When you Wish Upon a Star, is one of the most iconic Disney songs and is played at the beginning of most Disney films and is even the sound of the ship's horn on the Disney cruise ships.

I thought this was a fantastic film from Walt Disney for both young and old viewers and would recommend it to anyone that likes Disney films but hasn't seen this one yet.
