This is a extremely funny film it starts with a single farther who is struggling with his 7 children who were extremely rude and annoying to start of with. When there are no more nanny's left in the town he was about to leave the nanny department when he heard a mysterious voice from the department that said"The person you need is nanny Mcphee" when he came back to the house the kids had taken over the kitchen and taped up the cook as nanny Mcphee arrived she made the kids almost kill the baby until they all finally said please nanny Mcphee. she managed to teach 5 lessons to the kids after the kids no longer needed her she left. Also the dad remarried to there scullery maid all was well again. I really enjoyed this film it reminded me of Marry Poppins because of the context of the story.
