Mamma Mia

3 stars

11 Dec 2020

Today is the 10th of December 2020 which also means the tenth day of advent and I have just watched the first film on Netflix and that film was called Mamma Mia which had the all of songs from the band called Abba. Mamma Mia is about is set on a Greek island where Sophie is getting married to her boyfriend Sky But Sophie's focused on finding her dad, not on her big day. Secretly delving into her mother Donna's past, Sophie invites three men to the island in the hopes of that one of them is her biological father while Sophie's mum is running the hotel and with the help from her friends who are Rosie who is played by Julie Walters and Tanya who is played by Christine Baranski and she is very upset when she sees the three man again who she has not seen since she got pregnant with Sophie. Sky is not very helpful with preparing for Sophie's and his wedding. While that is happening Sophie secretly hides the three men, who were her mother's lovers in the past which her mum does not know that they are coming because Sophie did not want to worry her mum with stress so she tries to hide them in the goat house. she gets the names from reading her mum's old diary and decided to invite Sam, Bill and Harry her self thinking that they would come because they think that the invitations were sent by Donna and not her. This film is getting a three star rating which means It was OK because I prefer the second one which is called Mamma Mia here we go again with Lilly James playing a young Donna and the singer Cher who plays Donna's mother Ruby Sheridan and the second one has better songs than this film like my favourite song called Angel Eyes. That is the end of my tenth film review tomorrow I am watching a film which is a book called Little Women who has the actress Emma Watson who has been in all of the Harry Potter films playing Hermione Granger and she has played Belle in the live action remake of the Disney classic Beauty and the Beast. So thank you for reading all of my film reviews so far.
