The Sorcerer's Apprentice

3 stars

15 Dec 2020

Today is the 15th of December 2020 which also means the fifteenth day of advent I have seen 15 films since the first of December when I first started this Christmas challenge. The film that I am writing about is called The Sorcerer's Apprentice made by Walt Disney and this is the third film that I have seen with Nicolas Cage in. The Sorcerer's Apprentice is about Balthazar Blake who is played by Nicolas Cage who is a master sorcerer in modern-day Manhattan trying to defend the city from his arch-nemesis, Maxim Horvath who is played by Alfred Molina. Balthazar can't do it alone, so he recruits Dave Stutler who is played by Jay Baruchel who is also the voice of Hiccup in all of the How to Train your Dragon films. He is a seemingly average guy who demonstrates hidden potential, as the wizard Balthazar Blake sees in him a hidden talent for sorcery and trains him as his reluctant Apprentice he says yes to becoming Balthazar's Apprentice along the way he gets a crash course in the art of magic. As Dave prepares to help his mentor defend Manhattan from a other powerful Sorcerer whose name is Horvath. Dave wonders if he can survive the training, save the city and find his true love which is his childhood sweetheart whose name is Becky who is played by Teresa Palmer will Dave get the girl of his dreams, save the world from Morgana who is played by Alice Krige and will Balthazar get his love back whose name is Veronica who is played by Monica Bellucci. This is the end of my fifteenth film review which is on the film called The Sorcerer's Apprentice which has been given a three star rating and a three star review which means I found the film OK It is not one of my favourite Disney movies I have seen so that is why it has got three stars which means Its OK so thank you for reading my review today. My next film that I am watching is called How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World that I have never seen before. So that is it viewers see you tomorrow for my next review.
