It's never hard to guess what will happen next in The Karate Kid - but it's still a martial arts film packed with energy and humour.

This film is about teenage Daniel LaRusso, who has moved into a new town, and is facing problems at high school. He meets Mr Myagi, who agrees to teach him karate, in what some would say as a rather peculiar way. He teaches him the Keane kick; a move that cannot be defended if done correctly. But can Daniel use this to win the competition?

I recommend this for ages 9+ as it has a few swear words in it. I thought this was an amazing film 5th at is worth watching a few times.
