Professional photographer L.B. "Jeff" Jefferies breaks his leg while getting an action shot at an auto race. Confined to his New York apartment, he spends his time looking out of the rear window observing the neighbours. He begins to suspect that a man across the courtyard may have murdered his wife. Jeff enlists the help of his high society fashion-consultant girlfriend Lisa Fremont and his visiting nurse Stella to investigate. I was engaged in the film throughout it all as it was quite suspenseful. However, it became quite boring and repeatable as it was only set in Jefferies apartment and the plot was at a standstill. There was suspicions of a murder, yet there was little progress and it remained like that throughout the whole film, until the end where we were enlightened of the truth. When this happened, I guess the truth was quite underwhelming which made the watching of the entire movie pointless. The only upside of the film was the humour of the his nurse Stella which made me laugh on numerous occasions.
