Postman Pat The Movie

5 stars

16 Dec 2021

Today is the 16th of December 2021 which is also the sixteenth day of advent and the film that was chosen to write a review on is called Postman Pat The Movie and my sister Katie chose the film for my 24 Christmas movie challenge. So the film Postman Pat The Movie was all about A postman called Pat Clifton who plans to take his wife on a honeymoon trip to Italy and counts on a bonus from his boss to meet the expenses. However, after the bonus is cancelled he decides to take part in a singing contest to try and win the main prize which surprisingly is a holiday to Italy. My favourite character was Jess the black and white cat because after Pat did something terribly wrong Jess tried to tell Pat to stop and listen to his family and friends of Greendale that life is worth more than fame. Jess also kept making me laugh because he kept making David Tennant's character Wilf sneeze every time he was in the room. Overall this film has been given another five stars which means I really loved it because this was another childhood show that was made into a film that I used to watch. A Fun fact about Postman Pat is he is celebrating 30 years because the first episode was shown on BBC One in 1981.
