The Croods A New Age

3 stars

21 Dec 2021

Today is the 21st of December 2021 which is also the twenty first day of advent and we only have three more new movies to go until we have achieved my 24 days of movie Christmas challenge. So the movie that was chosen for day was the sequel to a film called The Croods. This movie is called The Croods A New Age which was chosen by my little sister Katie. The film is all about Still searching for a place to settle down after the cataclysmic events of The Croods. The overprotective prehistoric patriarch, Grug, leads his family to the great unknown. Hoping for the best in an increasingly dangerous world, while trying to come to terms with Eep and Guy's budding romance, Grug stumbles upon a secluded Eden of plenty, containing everything that they have been seeking. However, there is a catch, this verdant heaven on Earth is already occupied by the significantly more evolved Bettermans who are Phil, Hope, and their daughter, Dawn. Now, as tensions boil over between the antagonistic clans, a new menace threatens the future of both families. Can the Croods and the Bettermans put aside their differences to fight the common enemy, and live to tell the tale. This movie review has been given only three stars which means I found the film OK because in my own opinion I preferred the first film than this one because I felt there was more action scenes and more jump scares than this one that I am writing about. But I do have some favourite characters which are the Punch Monkeys, the sloths and the baby spider wolf because they are so cute and adorable you just wish you could pick them up and have a cuddle.
