Batman (1989)

Ah, the thing the booted off live action Batman movies. This film is really good but it has is flaws here and there.

The film is about a rich man called Bruce Wayne who had his parents killed when he was young. Now he is a vigilante who fights criminals, he keeps his identity secret and while fighting goes by the name; Batman. During a battle, Batman defeats a man named Jack Napier, he falls into a pool of acid and now has white skin and green hair and goes by the name Joker. Joker starts to wreak havoc across Gotham City and Batman is the only person that can stop him.

This film is generally really good, it has a great plot, amazing acting and the film has a good representation of how the characters are in the comics but they keep it real, they don’t go over the top.

The acting in this film is incredible, the best actor in it is Jack Nicholson (Joker), he has done several popular things such as The Shining, A Few Good Men and The Witches Of Eastwick. And you can’t leave Micheal Keaton out (Batman/Bruce Wayne) he’s been in Dopesick, Spider-Man: Homecoming and Birdman.

The music is so good, the Batman theme in this is ✨iconic✨.

Some scenes with CGI look very dated, there are few scenes of Batman in the Batjet and almost every one scene with it looks pretty bad.

We cannot finish this review without mentioning the fact that the cowl joins to his cape meaning he can’t move his neck which looks very silly in some parts of the film.
