Despicable Me

5 stars

04 Dec 2022

Welcome to another review today is the 4th of December 2022 which also means its the fourth day of advent and film that was chosen for today was made by me and I chose the first film from the Minion series and the film is called Despicable Me which is all about In a happy suburban neighbourhood surrounded by white picket fences with flowering rose bushes, sits a black house with a dead lawn. Unbeknownst to the neighbours, hidden beneath this house is a vast secret hideout. Surrounded by a small army of minions, we discover Gru who is voiced by Steve Carell who is planning to do the biggest heist in the history of the world. He is going to steal the moon. Gru delights in all things wicked. Armed with his arsenal of shrink rays, freeze rays, and battle-ready vehicles for land and air, he vanquishes all who stand in his way. Until the day he encounters the immense will of three little orphaned girls who look at him and see something that no one else has ever seen: a potential Dad. The world's greatest villain has just met his greatest challenge yet and that to look after three little girls whose names are Margo who is voiced by Miranda Cosgrove, Edith who is voiced by Dana Gaier and Agnes who is voiced by Elsie Fisher will Gru and his minions learn to love these girls and keep them forever or will they stay as villains with no love in their hearts. This review has been given five stars which means I loved it because I love all the films that have been made which I have also now seen and have written reviews for them. My favourite characters are of course the Minions as I think they are the cutest creatures that make the films enjoyable. Thank you for reading my review for the film which is called Despicable Me. The next film will be chosen by my sister Katie again.
