1950s California is the setting for this joyous high school musical which follows a dizzy teen romance.

Grease

5 stars

12 Dec 2022

Hello film club members today is the 12th of December 2022 which also means it's the twelfth day of advent which also means we have hit the half way point of this challenge. Toady's film was chosen by my mum and she chose a musical the film was the original High School Musical it was called Grease which is all about A musical about teens in love in the 1950s. It's California 1958 and greaser Danny Zuko who was played by John Travolta and Australian Sandy Olsson who was played by Olivia Newton-John who sadly is not with us any longer. They fall in love as they spend time at the beach, and when they go back to school, what neither of them knows is that they both now attend Rydell High. Danny is the leader of the T-Birds, a group of black leather jacket-wearing greasers while Sandy hangs with the Pink Ladies, a group of pink-wearing girls led by Rizzo when they clash at Rydell's first pep rally, Danny isn't the same Danny from the beach. They try to like each other but they have a lot of problems along the way but in the end they can be together. This review has been given five stars which means I loved it because I love all of the songs that are in this film my favourite song is Summer Nights. Thank you for reading my review on the film Grease. My next film will be chosen by me for tomorrow but I will be watching it in the morning because in the evening I am going to see the pantomime at the theatre.
