A hilarious action-packed movie that makes me laugh every time I watch it!

5 stars

19 Apr 2023

Watching this three times in three days, and not getting bored of it a single time, I would say that this was a really good movie and deserves five stars. This is because the whole movie is jam-packed with jokes and humour and even though some might argue that it lacks a plot, I would say to them that the whole movie is the plot in a way. The whole movie is a journey which Gru and the Minions take, trying to impress their heroes, supervillains to everybody else, the Vicious Six and find themselves driving planes, learning kung-fu, and running away from security guards. The movie also reveals Otto, a new minion, who plays a key part in the story. Also, compared to the graphics of Despicable Me, which released in 2010, these graphics are much more realistic. Additionally, I would say that this would be the best animated film of 2022 based on the fact that its box office was 939.7 million dollars, much higher than Lightyear and DC Super League Of Pets, which only had a meagre approximate 200 million dollar box office. At the end of the film, it finishes with a heart-warming end with the Minions singing a song, particularly like Despicable Me 2 but for a different reason. I could recommend this film to anyone with a mischievous mind or without, to a person sad or happy, to a person large or small.

If you liked this film, I would recommend Despicable Me 1-3 and Minions. Also, Despicable Me 4 is releasing in July 2024 and if you liked the animation and graphics of the film, I would suggest you watch more movies from the studio Illumination, who made the Grinch, Lorax, Secret Life Of Pets and Sing as well as the Despicable Me Franchise.
