This film does what it sets out to do, and it does it well. I would have given this 5 stars if it wasn't so depressing, I'm not a person who particularly likes stuff that is too overly depressing. But if you're interested in a film about WW2 that's lighter hearted, I suggest Jojo Rabbit.
