Dora and the Lost City of Gold

4 stars

15 Sep 2024

As Dora would say Hola which means hello in English and Welcome to a very late film review on another childhood TV show of mine that has now been made into a film. The film is called Dora and the Lost City of Gold which we watched on Thursday the 27th of June 2024 because on Wednesday the 26th of June we watched are Disney challenge because on Tuesday the 25th of June 2024 the euros for Football were on so we changed are movies to different days. Dora and the Lost City of Gold is all about a girl called Dora who has spent most of her life exploring the jungle with her parents, but nothing could prepare her for her most dangerous adventure ever which is starting high school. But halfway though her school life she always goes back to being the explorer and this leads Dora to quickly find herself leading Boots, Diego, a mysterious jungle inhabitant, and a ragtag group of teens on a live-action adventure to save her parents and solve the impossible mystery behind a lost Inca civilization. Can Dora, her cousin Diego and her new friends save her parents in time or will the bad guy get the lost treasure. I recommend you watch the film to find out what happens to them. This review has only been given four stars which means we liked it because we all felt that it had good action and puzzle solving scenes but it was mainly based for younger views. My favourite character would be Boots the monkey as he was very cute and flurry and he is also my favourite character in the Tv series as well. I also recommend you watch the TV series as it is a great way to learn a new and second language because when I was a child I used to watch Dora the Explorer on Nick Jr but it is not on anymore but episodes can be found on YouTube. Thank you for reading my very late review on Dora and the Lost City of Gold. I am sorry for all my film reviews being this late but I have been very busy with meetings and house work. What TV shows do you remember watching as a kid and have they been turn into films? I hope you enjoy reading my reviews and you will hear from me again soon.
