Definitely dated, but still very effective!

Psycho is a product of its time, yet still so effortlessly effective! I can clearly understand how it changed the film industry from there on, as its twists are so unpredictable and they leave you rethinking the entire film. Bates is a great character that the audience feel very trusting in...

And the cinematography is done brilliantly especially with the resources they have. The first major twist is undoubtedly iconic and i could really see why when i watched it! Finally, the soundtrack is great at building tension and suspense, despite having heard it so many times...
