Ok so, just to get it out of the way, I’ll say my pet peeve with Chicken Little. There’s an opening narration at the start of the film, not this narration isn’t bad, just misused. In that it’s only used once at the start and never again, but it does establish a more meta side of the film that applies later on, and as I said, it isn’t bad it’s actually rather entertaining, just misused. Here’s a good example of really good narration: Kaos. In Kaos, Prometheus - god of fire - breaks the 4th wall to deliver exposition and the like. I feel that his 4th wall breaks are meaningful and organically delivered, and another thing, he actively narrates so it’s not a one-time thing to give the audience caught up on the stuff the writers can’t show on screen, which is not strictly "necessary" for me personally, but I did like. I think that’s mainly what annoys me about this film, otherwise, I’d say it’s a pretty good film with some pretty good jokes and more that I'll say right now. In the film, there is an alien invasion, and I found it interesting that there's no "wrong" party. What I mean is, in the film, 2 aliens lose their kid. Understandably, this is VERY distressing - so much so that the parents call a galactic armada - thusly causing the invasion earlier mentioned, hey, you would too in their shoes right? And, naturally, the people who are being invaded treat the invasion with intense hostility, which albeit is unfair, but not unexpected, if strange creatures were vaporising the people you care about, and not explaining why, would you start hitting things? Now as a side note, my favorite charecter, Fish Out of Water (truly, an inspired name) has a voice actor, he is name is Dan Molina, I just figured that they just recorded bubbles and stuff... So there's that for you.
