1. This competition is open to educators in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Any entrants outside of the UK will not be eligible.
2. No purchase necessary.
3. Only one entry per pupil.
4. For the competition, an entry is defined as a drawing and written description of a dragon.
5. Entries should be submitted by email as a photograph, or scanned copy to entries@intofilm.org with the subject line ‘Roar and Soar competition' or posted to FREEPOST RTAE-BAZG-CSZZ, Into Film - HTTYD, 31 Islington Green, London N1 8DU.
6. Entries must be submitted by an authorised adult (18+ teacher, parent, guardian, carer) on behalf of the pupil. Entries submitted from a pupil email account under the age of 18 will be void.
7. All entries must detail the entrant's first name, age, school and their authorised adult's name and email address. The authorised adults who submit the entry on behalf of the pupil(s) must state their permission for the pupil(s) to enter the competition by either:
a. signing their name on page 2 of the Roar and Soar competition sheet
b. stating in writing e.g. I, [insert authorised adult's name], give permission for [insert pupil's first name]to enter this competition.
8. The winner and two runners up will be selected by an independent panel of judges from Into Film. Entries will be judged on how imaginative the designs are and the quality of the description of the drawing.
9. The winner and two runners up will be chosen after the closing date of Friday 20 June 2025, and their authorised adults will be notified by email (to the address on the competition entries) within 4 weeks of the deadline. Prizes will be delivered in the new academic year, starting September 2025.
10. The Prize:
10i. One winner will receive the following: 1 x post-release private screening of How To Train Your Dragon (2025) for themselves and their school class:
a) The screening will take place post release in the new academic year starting September 2025 at the school's local cinema (excluding West End and Westfield sites).
b) The screening must occur on a term-time, weekday morning and is subject to the requested cinema's booking availability.
c) The prize is for 1 x winner and their class/group.
d) There must be a minimum of one adult present to be responsible for those under the age of 18.
e) The authorised adult confirmed on the competition entry form is responsible for:
- liaising with Promoter about the prize and prize fulfilment, including being the point of contact for Into Film and local cinema manager in arranging screening and confirming attendance for winner and their class/group.
- Ensuring all permissions and safeguarding measures according to winner's school policy are in place.
- Where the authorised adult is not the winner's teacher/school representative they will supply contact details for the winner's school teacher/ contact so that screening prize can be arranged for the winner and their class.
f) The prize does not include travel or any costs associated with travel for the winner's prize.
g) If the winner has moved to a different school since their entry was submitted, an alternative prize of a £100 cinema voucher to be used at their local cinema will be provided to the winner.
10ii. The x2 runners up will receive How To Train Your Dragon-themed merchandise packs containing:
- 1 x Textured Tumbler
- 1 x Fidget Spinner
- 1 x Baseball Cap
- 1 x Polyester Kite
- 1 x Tattoo Sheet
- 1 x Adult Tee L
- 1 x Kids Tee L
a) Each merchandise pack will be delivered to one UK school/equivalent address. Delivery will be made within 30 days of the prize winner's authorised adult confirming their school/equivalent postal address to the Promoter. If the school/equivalent is expected to be closed during the 30 days window, the authorised adult and Promoter agree to wait for the closest suitable time to deliver the prizes.
Anything not specified in these terms and conditions as being included in the prize package is excluded.
If Winner elects to partake in any or all portions of his/her prize, the prize will be awarded to Winner and any remainder of the Prize will be forfeited and shall not be subject to further or alternative compensation.
All prize elements are subject to availability. No cash alternative is offered for any Prizes and they are non-transferable and non-refundable. Winner(s) cannot change, vary, substitute or extend any element of the prize (in whole or in part).
11. All prizes will be awarded on the condition that the winner and runners up agree to take part in Into Film publicity requests as appropriate. If this condition is not met by the winner or runners up, their prizes will be awarded to another entrant that does agree to this condition. We will not pass on the winning pupil/school/parent details to anyone other than the promoter.
12. The promoter reserves the right to disqualify an entry if it's believed the competition entrant is not able to qualify their entry as their original work.
13. The promoter reserves the right in their reasonable discretion:
a. to disqualify any competitor whose conduct is contrary to the spirit of the rules or the intention of the promotion and to declare as void any or all of their claims or entries based on such conduct.
b. to declare as void any claims or entries resulting from any printing, production and/or distribution errors (including but not limited to any error(s) on this website, and/or other printed materials) or where there has been error(s) in any aspect of the preparation for or conduct of the promotion materially affecting the result of the promotion or the number of claimants or the value of claims.
c. to add to or to waive any rules on reasonable notice.
d. and/or to cancel the promotion or any part of it at any stage in the event of circumstances beyond reasonable control.
14. Competition entries will be anonymously and securely destroyed 30 days after the competition prize has been delivered to protect personal data included on entry forms.

16. Employees and agents of Universal Pictures UK, Into Film or any company connected with the production or distribution of a promotion or any of their associated companies are not eligible to take part in the applicable promotion, nor are their relatives or members of their families or households. Proof of eligibility must be provided on request.
17. By entering the competition, the entrants agree to be bound by the rules and by other requirements set out in this competition.
