We are very proud to announce that Into Film CEO Paul Reeve has been awarded an MBE in the 2019 New Year's Honours List for his services to film and the arts.

I'm honoured to receive this award, and thrilled that the work of Into Film and importance of cultural education have been recognised in this way.

Into Film CEO Paul Reeve

Paul has been Chief Executive of Into Film since its formation in 2013. He has over 25 years' experience of working in cultural education, including previous posts at the Royal Shakespeare Company, English Touring Opera and the Royal Opera House where, as Director of Learning and Participation, he led a major expansion of educational and audience engagement activities in ballet, opera, music and backstage crafts.

Other figures honoured for their services to film include acclaimed director Christopher Nolan, Head of Production UK for the British Film Commission Samantha Perahia, actor Thandie Newton and director Albert James. It is really exciting to see such an eclectic range of figures in film celebrated and for the power and impact of film to be championed on such a prestigious national level.

Paul officially received his MBE from the Prince of Wales, Prince Charles at a prestigious Buckingham Palace event on Thursday 4 April. Huge congratulations to Paul from the whole Into Film team for this amazing achievement!
