Heading into cinemas this week is new A. A. Milne biopic Goodbye Christopher Robin which explores the Winnie the Pooh author's relationship with his son, which ultimately provided the inspiration for the much-loved novels.

The Red Turtle

This entirely dialogue-free animation, co-produced by Studio Ghibli, follows an unnamed man who is washed ashore a desert island after encountering stormy seas. After working out how to survive through foraging for food and fresh water, with only the smallest creatures for company he starts to build a raft. Yet every attempt to leave the island is thwarted by a mysterious red turtle who will change the man's life in magical ways.
