Superhero animation 'Incredibles 2' leads this week's new releases

The family with superhero tendencies return in Pixar's animated sequel Incredibles 2, which begins with Bob and Helen Parr back in their mundane lives after losing the public's support due to damages caused on previous missions. However when Elastigirl is recruited by a communications company looking to make superheroes popular again, the family dynamic changes, and she must contend with a new villain known as the Screenslaver while Mr. Incredible tries to take care of the kids at home.

Charley is a lonely 15 year-old boy who arrives in Portland, Oregon with his father, and takes a summer job as a stable boy at a local racetrack where he strikes up an affectionate bond with one of the older horses, Lean on Pete. Upon learning that its owners are planning on sending the horse to slaughter, Charley takes drastic action, and traverses the American countryside with his new friend in this moving coming-of-age drama.

Set in 1929 in Australia's Northern Territory where segregationist policies are in place, Sweet Country sees Aboriginal cattle-herder Sam, his wife and niece sent to work for a racist station owner, Harry March. After Harry embarks on a booze-fuelled rampage, an altercation occurs in which Sam shoots him dead, claiming self-defence. Worried that the locals will take the law into their own hands, Sam and his wife Lizzie go on the run in this epic western.
