Congratulations to Rhys Roberts, who teaches at Llanharan Primary School, Wales, who has been crowned Teacher of the Year (Sponsored by Working Title Films) at the Into Film Awards 2019. Rhys' award was presented to him by his namesake, actor Rhys Ifans.

Rhys has been the club leader at Llanharan Primary School for the past three years. He enjoys using film in all areas of the curriculum and especially loves seeing pupils immersing themselves in worlds or cultures they would otherwise have no opportunity of experiencing and exploring.

Being nominated came as a huge surprise. It is an immense honour and a great sign of acknowledgement for the time, effort and enjoyment I dedicate towards immersing my pupils into the world of film.
