'Breathe' at the BFI London Film Festival 2017

Directed by Andy Serkis, Breathe is an incredible true story starring Andrew Garfield and Claire Foy as Robin and Diana Cavendish, a couple who refuse to give up when a terrible disease leaves Robin paralysed from the neck down.

We caught the film at the 2017 BFI London Film Festival - watch highlights from the press conference in the video above, where the stars and director talk about their experiences working on the film.

Below, our reporter Joe spoke with director Andy Serkis on the red carpet, as the film opened this year's BFI London Film Festival. Watch Serkis talk of how Robin and Diana's story paved the way for disability rights in the UK, and why Breathe is a real antidote to the tumultuous times we're living in.
