Misbehaviour tells the story of the 1970 Miss World competition and how the newly formed Women's Liberation Movement disrupted the pageant in a protest against its treatment of women. Not only this, but Western beauty ideals were turned on their head too when the judges crowned a Black woman Miss World - a first in the pageant's history and something that caused a massive uproar.
