We Are Poets interview with the director Alex Ramseyer-Bache

Director Alex Ramseyer-Bache talks to reporter Tara about why his new documentary We Are Poets shows that age isn't a barrier for artistic expression. The film charts the success of a group of slam poets as they make the long journey from Leeds to Washington D.C. to perform in the World Slam Poetry Championships. This is the debut feature from Alex who grew up around the corner from the Leeds Young Author's group featured in the film. Inspirational, uplifting and politically engaging, the film tells us that no matter how young you are, everyone has a powerful voice.
