Guide discussions and extend learning through this short resource on the animated adventures, Room on the Broom and Stick Man.

Losing Friends and Finding Friends is aimed at teachers and Into Film Club leaders of children aged 5-7. It contains questions to prompt critical analysis and increase engagement with the films, as well as literacy activities to stimulate reading, writing and speaking and listening opportunities.

In these adventures, children will meet a kind witch who wants to make sure there's room on her broom for everyone, and Stick Man, who is taken far away from his family tree by children and animals who find all kinds of uses for him as a stick.

Updating our resources

We have developed a large catalogue of educational resources since launching in 2013, and some references and terminology will inevitably have dated as society and language evolves. We are aware of this and will be updating resources when our production schedule allows.
