An Adventure to Remember is our new curriculum-linked, ready-to-use resource for learners aged 7-11 that draws on the themes of memory and friendship in Forgotten Island, in cinemas October 16. The creative activities included draw on the magical world of the film to spark learners’ imaginations and support attainment across PSHE, English and music.

This resource includes:

Friends Forever activity sheet

What are the qualities of a healthy friendship? Share the prompts provided with this activity to encourage your class to write and draw examples of fond memories with their own friends.

Time Capsule activity sheet

Help your class preserve their memories in time as well as visualising their future selves with this fun activity. Learners will capture details of their current lives, as well as a prediction about what their life will be like in one year’s time.

Memory Quest activity sheet

How might a memory change if we only have some of the information we need? Enhance literacy and oracy skills with this imaginative storytelling game.

Updating our resources

We have developed a large catalogue of educational resources since launching in 2013, and some references and terminology will inevitably have dated as society and language evolves. We are aware of this and will be updating resources when our production schedule allows.

What our educators say

"Our SATs results this year were great, both progress and attainment in reading and writing have improved compared with last year, which we feel has been largely as a result of integrating the Into Film strategies."
