International Day of Peace
A film guide that looks at Giovanni's Island (2015), a moving Japanese animation about two brothers whose lives are turned upside-down when their idyllic island is occupied by Russia.
This guide is useful for exploring topics including Art and Design, History, Geography and Citizenship in addition to highlighting themes surrounding growing up, World War Two, travel and exploration, the environment, community, child safety, family and friendships, life and death, and foreign language films.
