Synopsis

The ingenious idea for this outstanding Hong Kong thriller is to present a double-undercover story, with a cop infiltrating a triad gang while at the same time a gangster manages to work his way into the same police squad that are investigating his own gang. But which impostor will be flushed out first? And can either of them possibly survive? Starring Hong Kong cinema megastars Andy Lau and Tony Leung, it's fast-paced, gripping, edge-of-the-seat stuff which inspired Martin Scorsese's excellent remake The Departed.
