Despite the somewhat flimsy plot, which sees private eye Wolf J Flywheel (Groucho Marx) attempting to save a department store from its crooked manager, this late-period Marx Brothers comedy boasts some genuinely funny moments not least Harpo accompanying himself on flute and bass violin while he plays the harp, and a manic chase on foot, bicycle and rollerskates throughout the entire store.
Considered as the Marx Brothers at their best - this outing sees Groucho attempt to bring Milan's finest opera stars to New York.
